What We Expect

 

Reliability

We expect that you are on site and ready to work for your shift start time. If you are unable to attend work due to sickness or personal problems we expect a phone call before your shift is due to commence to allow us to uphold our service levels and arrange a replacement to fulfil your shift.

Work Ethics

When on assignment we require that you follow all reasonable instruction to carry out you duties in a professional and courteous manner. Many of our clients look to recruit from the staff we provide them so often your hard work and dedication could be rewarded with the offer of a full time job.

To register

When registering with One Call Recruitment you will need to bring along with you proof of your right to work in the UK (usually your passport or ID card), national insurance card, bank details and details of your work history. Our initial induction and registration process will take approximately 2 hours.

What You Will Receive

Pay

All temporary workers are paid on Friday every week (Thursday if Friday is a Bank Holiday) by BAC's transfer directly into your personal account. Fully detailed payslips are distributed the day before the payment is made. If you do not currently have your own account assistance is available to help you obtain one. We will never pay your money into a third party's account.

Conditions

You will be provided with comprehensive training prior to your assignment to ensure you have the skills to do the required job. Your place of work will have been risk assessed to ensure your safety and we treat you with total respect not tolerating any form of harassment. If you decide to opt out of the working time directive the maximum hours we will allow you to work is 60. You will receive a signed copy of you contract before starting work and your site passport. A staff information area is available in our Peterborough office with access to our company handbook and employee help lines. Subsidised transport to and from work is available if required.
